This spring fed pool is part natural and part man-made. It is also volcanically heated to a balmy 90 degrees! The bottom of the pool is sand and mud with a slight sulfur smell.
The water is brackish but very clear and visitors to the park can be seen snorkeling in the pool.
There are lifeguards on duty from 9 AM to 4 PM. The area is surrounded by palm trees, green grass and the Pacific Ocean making it a very beautiful and uncrowded tropical retreat. The park is open daily with free admission.
